The team have started the latest Albert's Shed restaurant and bar in Standish. The project marks the second project for Elle R Leisure, following the £1m refurbishment of the iconic Dukes 92 in Manchester's Castlefield.A fine example of Victorian architecture, the existing villa was once part of the Standish Hall Estate. To bring it back to its former glory, the building will be sympathetically refurbished and extended to house the new restaurant. As part of the works, extensions that have been added to the building over the years will be demolished.A perfect mix of old and new, the new-build extension will be a large, contemporary single-storey building. The interior will feel open and bright with large floor-to-ceiling windows and fixed booth seating.Once complete, the venue will offer space for up to 180 diners. Externally on the terrace, a further 70-covers will offer customers the option to dine al-fresco. The venue also boasts a series of conference and event spaces, with a focus on weddings. The venue will open its doors for Summer 2019.
