Medlock has completed work on a ground-breaking Asian street food emporium in the heart of Manchester’s Circle Square. Hello Oriental has been a hit with revellers flocking to experience authentic Asian cuisine since opening to the public in early February.

Taking possession of an empty shell Medlock performed a full fit-out of the unique subterranean venue. Set across the three levels, you’ll find an Asian inspired bakery and café, a Vietnamese restaurant, a street food banqueting hall and a supermarket offering all the fantastic produce you’ll find on Hello Oriental’s online store.

The £1.4m project features as the flagship retail and leisure destination in the Bruntwood developed Circle Square. With meticulous planning and great project coordination the Medlock team overcame the challenges this unique venue posed during the build. Our highlight feature is the breath-taking full-length wave ceiling which truly puts Hello Oriental on the map as one of Manchester’s coolest establishments.

We wish Hello Oriental all the best and encourage everyone to go and enjoy all the exotic cuisine they have to offer.
