A major investment is underway at the former The Red Lion Hotel in the Cheshire village of Malpas. After standing empty for several years, the pub will be extended to more than three times its current floor space and completely remodelled with a luxurious function suite and external courtyard added to the rear of the building.Further works on the site include the refurbishment of a Grade II listed Tudor cottage to house bedroom accommodation and guest dining space. Opposite the cottage, a new development of 13 well-appointed bedrooms will also be built. The project will be completed in the Autumn.
