The Light, Redhill

Medlock have recently handed over their latest collaboration with The Light cinema to deliver their thirteenth venue at Redhill in Surrey.

Set over 45,000 sq ft and featuring six screens the family entertainment venue is the anchor attraction at The Rise leisure and retail development, which is set to transform Redhill town centre.

Over the course of a 20 week programme our team transformed the empty shell into a state of the art entertainment complex undertaking all the MEP, acoustic treatment and mass barrier ceiling installations in addition to the bespoke joinery and decorative finishes.

The Light’s multifaceted offering ensures there’s a host of activities for the whole family to enjoy as they continue their evolution in the competitive socialising sector.

Alongside the cinema the site features eight lanes of tenpin bowling, a mini golf course, climbing arena, interactive darts, a karaoke booth, American pool, shuffleboard tables, an arcade and for the first time introduces axe throwing, curling and duckpin bowling to the public. 

The venue also has a high-quality restaurant and bar offer offering a range of freshly made food and drinks.
