The Summer break is here but Medlock is making an early return to the classroom with a project to upgrade facilities at Hugh Baird College in Bootle.

The college and university centre is one of the largest providers of education and training in Merseyside, offering over 300 courses to 5000 students covering A-levels, apprenticeships, university-level courses and degrees

The work will be carried out in two phases over ten weeks. The Medlock team will first deliver a complete refurbishment of two digital classrooms and then a major remodelling of the Engineering training workshop, including a new mezzanine level and training bays for electrical engineering apprentices.

Medlock is expanding its presence in the education sector following projects at LTE Wythenshawe, Accrington and Colne College and Cardinal Newman College in Preston. We’re excited to be working with Hugh Baird College and look forward to delivering the project in the new academic year.
