We are proud to have completed the fit-out of the new Arc Cinema, the anchor leisure offering at the groundbreaking Forge Island development in Rotherham.
The cinema boasts eight luxurious screens, each equipped with premium reclining seats to ensure the utmost comfort for moviegoers. Attention to detail was paramount throughout the build, delivering a seamless integration of aesthetics, functionality and latest cinema technology.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the venue is the two cutting-edge HYPERSENSE screens, which required intricate installation due to their advanced technology. These screens feature wall-to-wall displays, 4K laser projection, and Dolby Atmos surround sound, creating an immersive experience for audiences. We collaborated closely with specialist teams to install these state-of-the-art systems, ensuring every technical element was perfectly executed.
This project marks Rotherham’s first cinema opening since 1990 and we’re proud to have played a pivotal role in bringing such a vital cultural and leisure facility to life.
Having previously worked with Arc Cinema to deliver their Hucknall venue, it was great to assist them in the delivery of their sixth site as they continue their organic growth across the UK. We look forward to working with them again in the near future.
