Southport Market Hall - Southport

Client: Sefton MBC

Architect: DV8 Design

Duration: 14 weeks

Value: £1.4m

There’s a new kid on the block on Southport’s food and drink scene.

Working in conjunction with Warrington architecture and design specialist DV8, Medlock has completed work on the £1.2m remodelling and fit-out of Southport Market.

Medlock converted the market into a modern street food emporium, replete with separate food stalls and a spacious communal dining area.

Many of the features of the old market have been retained and modernised, keeping the history of the old market alive.

We’re very proud of the transformation of this Southport institution and look forward to its public opening. This uniquely modern food and drink experience will be right at home in the much-loved seaside resort and we wish our client Sefton Council all the very best.
