We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Arc Cinema fit out, the flagship leisure attraction within Preston's new Animate development.

This project signifies our third collaboration with Arc Cinema following successful deliveries in Hucknall and Rotherham. This latest opening marks their inaugural venture in the North West whilst expanding their UK presence to seven locations.

Situated on the historic site of Preston's former indoor market, the cinema features eight screens, each furnished with luxurious reclining seats to provide unparalleled comfort. Two of these are state-of-the-art HYPERSENSE screens, equipped with wall-to-wall displays, 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos surround sound, offering film enthusiasts an immersive viewing experience.

We are particularly proud to have handed over the project ahead of schedule, allowing for a timely opening. The official launch was graced by esteemed animator and Preston native, Nick Park, creator of Wallace & Gromit, who ceremoniously cut the ribbon, marking a momentous occasion for the community. This event underscores the cultural significance of the cinema and its anticipated role in revitalizing Preston's city centre.

This venture not only enhances the local entertainment landscape but also contributes to the broader regeneration efforts within the Harris Quarter. We are honoured to have played a pivotal role in this transformative project and look forward to witnessing the positive impact the Arc Cinema will have on the community.
