The Kings Ransom, Sale
Client: Greene King

Medlock is thrilled to share details of our latest handover for national brewer Greene King at the King’s Ransom in Sale.
Sat abreast the Bridgwater Canal in the town centre, The King’s Ransom is much revered locally for its waterside location and ample beer garden.
The project saw us completely overhaul a host of finishes and decorations to transform the tired interior of the pub to create a “modern, welcoming atmosphere”.
In the main pub trade area, we upgraded the upper back bar, decorations, floor finishes, lighting and introduced new fixed seating. In the mezzanine first floor space we revamped the meeting area into a new hybrid workspace station, perfect for taking a break from the office hubbub.
Externally the beer garden and outside bar areas received upgrades to the existing timber sheds now equipped with new dining tables and new arbour feature planters. We also introduced replacement sails, pergola units and decking to the canal side pontoon.
As one of Greene King’s partner contractors in the North West we are proud to continue our close working relationship and look forward to assisting them again in the near future.
