Motel One, Job Done!

Medlock is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our first project with German hotel operator Motel One.

With locations in London, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Manchester, the group holds strategic footholds in many of the UK’s key tourist and business hubs.

For this project, we transformed the former Ladbrokes bookmakers unit adjoining their Royal Exchange site on Cross Street in Manchester city centre, seamlessly incorporating it into the existing hotel. This newly integrated space now enhances the ground floor, forming part of a stylish and expanded guest lounge.

We also introduced a sophisticated new meeting room, providing corporate guests with an elegant setting for formal gatherings.

Throughout the project, the hotel remained fully operational, requiring our team to coordinate closely with hotel staff to carefully manage noisy works and deliveries. Our top priority was ensuring a seamless guest experience while maintaining the highest levels of public safety around the worksite.

We’re proud of the results and look forward to collaborating with Motel One again in the near future.
