Since the 16th of November, the Medlock team has been hard at work at Manchester's Barbirolli Square. Next to the iconic Bridgewater Hall, the team has been working alongside Manchester’s own 5plus Architects and Savills to breathe new life into 100 Barbirolli Square. A building that’s been neglected since the closure of Barbirolli Cocktail Bar 10 years ago, we’re eager to open this building up once again.Tenants PopCity know what they’re doing with this venue. Hospitality movers and shakers Richard Sweet and Nick Gregory combined award-winning street food vendors and Vocation Brewery to create Assembly Underground in Leeds. Now they’re ready to take on Manchester too.We are altering and extending the unit to create 5 new individual kitchens and an open plan seating area. The introduction of a new mezzanine will also offer a more private space and will allow us to transform this building into an exciting street food venue. With extensive outdoor paving and external works on the cards, we’re ready to give this venue a unique personal touch. Handing over on the 8th of February next year, this restaurant and bar in Manchester’s city centre is sure to be a hit.Only a stone’s throw from the iconic Midland Hotel and many of the city’s most popular venues, 100 Barbirolli Square will surely be a popular stop for those looking for a quick fix during lunch or heading back to their rooms for the night. We’re sure there’ll be queues out the door.Keep your eyes on our news page for updates on this exciting project. [custom_show_gallery]
