Show-stopping spa on track at the Swan

Medlock is making good progress over at the Swan Hotel and Spa in Newby Bridge. As part of the project to add new facilities to the venue, the 17th-century coach house is undergoing a complete transformation that will position it as one of the go-to rest and relaxation spots in the Lake District.

Acquired by our client, BH Group in 2020, the Swan is a popular boutique hotel with a strong record of year-round business. One of the main elements of the project is the construction and fit-out of a state-of-the-art spa, including an indoor/outdoor pool, a thermal room and a relaxing spa café.

Once reopened, the already popular hotel will offer customer’s luxury stays and well-earned pampering in one of the UK’s most desired holiday locations.

Over the last few months, Medlock has been busy delivering the three-story, 28-bedroom timber extension and the ground floor spa facilities. With the structural works complete, the team are now turning their attention to decoration, tiling and the top quality finishes we’re known for.

The Swan Hotel and Spa is shaping up to be something really special and we’re looking forward to delivering the finished product next month.
