We are delighted to share details of redevelopment works undertaken at Hopwood Hall College & University Centre, where we were carried out an extensive transformation and reconfiguration of the existing Animal Management teaching facilities.

Our scope included the careful demolition of selected redundant buildings on site to make way for state of the art, purpose-built teaching spaces and specialist animal housing areas.

In addition to the new Animal Management hub, we also reconfigured a number of existing buildings to deliver modern teaching environments in line with the college’s ambitions for excellence in animal care education.

Given the live environment and the operational nature of the site, the project was delivered in carefully planned phases. This approach ensured that decanting could take place ahead of our works, enabling the college to maintain business as usual operations.

Close collaboration with the college was vital throughout the programme, particularly in maintaining continuous access to the remaining animal welfare facilities and so the animals on site could be fed and watered as normal by the students.
