Flat Iron, Southbank
Client: Flat Iron
Architect: Macaulay Sinclair
Duration: 11 weeks
Value: £690k
We are delighted to share details of our latest handover for Flat Iron. Delivering their newest restaurant at Soutbank the project marked their fifteenth London opening and eighteenth nationally.
Located at the back of the Royal Festival Hall overlooking Southbank Market Square their latest site sits right in the heart of one of London’s most vibrant and iconic areas.
The restaurant’s design pays homage to the rich architectural history of the Royal Festival Hall, a landmark of modern British architecture. Internally, a large central bar divides the space into a bright, informal bar seating area and a more intimate dining zone. Externally, the covered terrace beneath the Royal Festival Hall balcony features architectural planting and festoon lighting, overlooking the lively Southbank Market Square.
Our works included full MEP installation, bespoke joinery, specialist reclaimed finishes and bold décor throughout.
The project marked our fourth project with Flat Iron following successful deliveries at Leeds, Manchester and London Victoria and we look forward to working with the fast-growing group once again in the near future.
