The latest addition to the luxurious facilities at Langdale Hotel & Spa in the Lake District is a magnificent new restaurant and bar, completed by Medlock on behalf of our client, Langdale Leisure.
With more than 200 covers, ‘ Stove’ restaurant has been created within a two-storey extension featuring five dining zones and three external terraces overlooking the historic tarn which runs under the property.
There are several bespoke design features throughout the venue, including a double-sided log burner housed within the dry-stone chimney breast, a central island-bar with sea green slate bar tops, and a new theatre kitchen complete with open Chef’s table and a recessed wood-fired oven.
An oak-stained timber staircase leads to the relaxing mezzanine level bar with sliding glass doors opening on to a decked balcony that overlooks the original waterwheel and stunning Lakeland scenery.
