New Facilities completed at Hugh Baird College

Medlock has completed the remodelling of the teaching facilities and electrical engineering workshops at Hugh Baird College in Bootle.

Known for providing state-of-the-art learning spaces, outstanding student support and exceptional teaching, Hugh Baird college boasts over 5000 students across 300 courses, making it one of the leading educational institutions across Liverpool and Merseyside. This £350,000 project was split into two phases of work.

For the first part of the project, Medlock converted former classrooms into digital science bays, including new desk and learning spaces, wall-mounted display screens, data columns, and new training rooms. In the second phase, Medlock delivered a robust remodelling of the college’s engineering workshop.

The scope of works involved the design and build of a new mezzanine level for training bays and classrooms, complemented with new mechanical, electrical and air conditioning services. Medlock is proud to have delivered this project on time and further its experience in the education sector.

We wish the students and the college every success in their new facilities.
